Boutique Hotel: Complex Room Blocking Scenario

A boutique hotel came to us with a vexing problem. They had a set of five suites that could be combined in different ways to create listings. The problem was being approached by others as a parent-child or multi-generational listing situation. However, this was not solving the problem. Combinations of “sibling” suites were not supported in Hostaway. Thus Hostaway Helpers analyzed the scenario and came up with custom programming to block and unblock rooms. We then migrated the customer from their previous channel manager and onto Hostaway. We used tools that did not cause the hotel to have ongoing monthly expenses after the initial set-up.
